Schedule of Upcoming Board Meetings

Board meetings are held in downtown Raleigh, one block south of the State Capital. Click the Map link for specific directions to the meeting location. Meetings typically begin at 10:00am and are open to the public, pursuant to the North Carolina Open Meetings Law.

There is generally a 15-minute public comment period* at each meeting, at the Board's discretion.

Any individual or group who wishes to address the Board shall make a request to be on the agenda to the Board's secretary. Such request shall be made in writing and must be received at least 14 days prior to a regular meeting of the Board. The chair will determine whether the item will be placed on the agenda. The secretary shall notify the individual or group at least three working days in advance of the meeting whether the item will be on the agenda.

* Comments regarding rules changes: The North Carolina Administrative Procedures Act mandates specific written comment periods and a public hearing on proposed changes to the Rules and Regulations which are adopted by the Board.
